Grace

Who Is He?

He is Jesus. The Christ.

The person, a baby, born in a barn.

The amazing story of the baby in the barn has been told and retold millions of times: by shepherds, teachers, theologians, and children.

And, thank God, it will be told again and again until Jesus returns.

The "Good News" is not about beliefs or practices, not a set of do's and don'ts or rights and wrongs. It's not about a church or a denomination.

It's about a baby, born in a barn, to die for you and me and everyone else.

Jesus, fully human yet fully God, was the only person ever to live who did not have to die, yet He chose to die on a cross so that anyone else, who deserved to die, could live forever!

Anyone!

Whoever!

When Jesus came to live among us, He became  very special.

He didn't have to come.
He didn't have to die.
But when he died, and rose again,
He conquered death.

And we can, too!

That is the Good News. We don't have to die!

No matter how bad we have been, no matter which sins we have committed. Jesus already has covered our sins on the cross.

"It is finished."
He said it. He meant it!

We simply have to accept His gift, His grace.

Believe it and receive it.

Amazing!

The Apostle Luke used the word "amazed" 13 times, four in telling the story of Jesus' birth.

"16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved."
(John 3:16-17, New King James)

Amaze yourself.

Ask God to come into your heart.
In Jesus name.
Today.

Who Is He?

He is your Savior and Lord!

Rejoice!
