War War may sometimes be a necessary evil. But no matter how necessary, it is
always an evil, never a good. We will not learn to live together in peace by killing each
other's children.
Jimmy Carter, accepting the 2002 Nobel Peace Prize.
I
have never advocated war except as a means of peace.
Ulysses S. Grant
The time not to become a father is eighteen years before a war.
E. B. White
War is never a solution. It is the trigger for greater and more horrible evils.
Hatreds caused by wars fester and spread their poisons in the souls of humans more
viciously than the worst weapons of biological warfare, destroying not only the enemy, but
the souls of innocent warriors who thought they were saving the world. Hatred unleashed by
war is the most virulent weapon of mass destruction.
Joseph F. Girzone in Joshua in a Troubled World
Wisdom The art of being wise is the art of knowing what to overlook.
William James
It's so simple to be wise. Just think of something stupid to say and then don't
say it.
Sam Levenson
It's a wise man who profits by his own experience, but it's a good deal wiser
one who lets the rattlesnake bite the other fellow.
Josh Billings
Work Chop your own wood, and it will warm you twice.
Henry Ford
Worry - Cares Before you go to bed at night give all of your cares
and worries to God. He'll be up all night anyway.

Worship
Worship is giving God the best that He has given you. Be careful what you do with the best
you have. Whenever you get a blessing from God, give it back to Him as a love-gift. Take
time to meditate before God and offer the blessing back to Him in a deliberate act of
worship. If you hoard it for yourself, it will turn into spiritual dry rot, as the manna
did when it was hoarded (Exodus 16:20). God will never allow you to keep a spiritual
blessing completely for yourself. It must be given back to Him so that He can make it a
blessing to others.
Oswald Chambers.

to live honestly, eat slowly, and lie
about your age.
